Brief History
Originally built in 1838, then reconstructed or modified (1866, 1875, 1908, and 1933). The light is 57 feet tall, and is made of conical steel. Windmill Point Light is located at the edge of Detroit River, in Detroit Mariner Park, near Belle Isle.
