WATERFALLS

 

                Michigan has 199 waterfalls and most of them are in the Upper Peninsula. Only one waterfall is located in the Lower Peninsula, and this is the Ocqueoc Falls. The most popular is the Tahquamenon Falls, near Newberry and Paradise. The Upper Tahquamenon Falls is the largest waterfall in Michigan. It is 200 feet wide and 50 feet high. Other waterfalls that are worth seeing are the Agate Falls, Bond Falls, Canyon Falls, Chapel Falls, Miners Falls, Quartzite Falls, Scott Falls and the Slate River Falls.
