All pictures (Except corner view, 2007) were taken with an Canon EOS D-SLR Rebel XT. I used an Canon 28-105 wide angel lens. The corner view picture was taken with a Fuji S700 digital camera with a 10x zoom lens.
BRIEF HISTORY
Old Mackinaw Point Lighthouse was built in 1892. When the Mackinac Bridge was built in 1957 the Old Mackinaw Point Lighthouse was no longer needed, because the bridge was lighted. The lighthouse is constructed of light brown brick and the tower is three stories high.
