The Pictured Rock Lakeshore is sandstone cliffs that are up to 200 feet tall. The cliffs are mineral-stained sandstone of various colors. This is one of the top attractions of the Upper Peninsula. You can take the "Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise", or hike along the lakeshore. The city of Munising also has other attractions as well.

For the pictures taken in June 2008, I used my Canon EOS D-SLR Rebel XT. On that camera I used a Canon 28-105 wide angle lens and a Hoya Polarizer Filter. On the pictures taken October 2007, I used a Fuji S700 digital camera and a Olympus SP-310 digital camera.
