Brief History
The Old Presque Isle Lighthouse was built in 1840. This lighthouse stayed in service for about 30 years. It is three stories high. The New Presque Isle Lighthouse was built in 1870. The tower is 100 feet tall and is one of the tallest lighthouses in Michigan.
