FORTY MILE POINT LIGHTHOUSE
Located in Presque Isle County, north of Rogers City. Picture taken Nov 2007.
Originally built in 1897 and rebuilt in 1935. The lighthouse has been completely restored. Picture taken Nov 24, 2007.
Shipwreck, west of the lighthouse, half buried along the sandy beach.

BRIEF HISTORY
Forty Mile Point Lighthouse was originally built in 1897, and was rebuilt in 1935. The lighthouse is located north of Rogers City. Along the shore half buried in the sand is a shipwreck.
